This is just one of those examples of when I would be assigned some arbitrary homework for high school (in this case, read chapter one of Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness and comment on it) and turn it into an excuse to make a movie with my friends. This is bad, but it’s pretty funny for 15 year old kids. The script was also based on incredibly abbreviated SparkNotes of the book. To this day I haven’t read it – the best I’ve done is watch Apocalypse Now.
