Apple Crisp
8 cortland apples
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup flower
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter

1. Peel, core and cut up the apples and place into a In a buttered 10x6x2 baking dish.
2.In a mixing bowl, combine cinnamon, salt, flower, sugar and butter.
3. Mash with pastery tool or other appropriate kitchen tool.
4.Sprinkle mixture over top of apples.
5.Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Apple roses
Cortland apples
1 lemon
2 cups water
1.Cut apple in half and core.
2.Cut apple in thin slices to make the “petals.”
3. Squeeze lemon juice into bowl and add water and apple slices. microwave for 3 minutes.
4.On a cutting board, line up slices into a stack and then spread them out. The bottom straight edges of each slice should all line up and each should overlap the next by about half.
5.Carefully roll the the lineup into a rose and place into a sprayed muffin pan.
6. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.

Maple whipped cream
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2tsp vanilla
2 tbl spoon of maple syrup
1.Pour heavy whipping cream, vanilla and syrup into a mixing bowl and beat with mixer until it thickens to a frim peak when you pull the beaters out.
