This Halloween, I decided to do a parody of Macstery Science Theater 3000. This was the first year that we had baby Gloria, so I knew that a big production was going to be difficult, so I thought I’d keep the scripted segments to a minimum and leave most of the show to the unscripted bits of Jon and I reacting and riffing to Mac & Cheese commercials. That worked well but the scripted segments and opening intro still were production intensive, saved mostly by Matt Zagar working independently on the sets, props, and puppets. Ultimately, it came out as one of the best specials. The script, you’ll see, was very bare bones.
