In 2000, I purchased a video capture card from a gentleman in Montreal, who also offered to teach me how to edit using Adobe Premiere. I visited him, stayed over his house, and he gave me a crash course. I was 14, which makes it totally weird, but it was great and significant since I would go on to become a filmmaker.
